Beginning in October, ESPN Films is rebooting its Peabody Award-winning “30 for 30” documentary series. “Benji,” the story of slain Simeon basketball legend Ben Wilson, is scheduled to premiere Oct. 23.

Slain on the eve of his senior high school career back in 1984, the story of Benjamin “Benji” Wilson will live on via the Air Jordan 1 High. Featuring Chicago’s Simeon Vocational High School team colors, Jordan Brand puts together a special package for the Chi-Town player with his number “25″ stitched onto the heel. Video: In an interview that aired Sunday, Missouri Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin (R) said: “From what I understand from doctors … if it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”
National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman John Cornyn (R-Tex.) informed Rep. Todd Akin on Monday that the national GOP will not spend money to help elect him to the Senate after Akin’s controversial comments about “legitimate rape,” according to an NRSC aide.
